NordiCHI 2012 \u2013 Making sense through design<\/p>\n
The 7th Nordic Conference on Human-Computer Interaction is the main
\nforum in Northern Europe for human-computer interaction research. It
\nis the meeting place for researchers, designers, practitioners, and
\neducators from a broad range of traditions and communities. The
\nconference will take place at the IT University of Copenhagen on the
\n14-17th of October 2012.<\/p>\n

\n13th of July 2012: Posters, demos, and videos; design cases;
\nindustrial experiences
\n10th of August 2012: Doctoral consortium<\/p>\n

DOCTORAL CONSORTIUM
\nThe doctoral consortium is a full day session taking place on Sunday
\n14th October 2012. It is intended for Ph.D. students working in the
\nfield of human-computer interaction. The doctoral consortium is an
\nopportunity to present issues of concern in the doctoral studies, meet
\nfellow Ph.D. students, and get extensive feedback from the session
\nco-chairs and other participants. It is primarily intended for
\nstudents in the “middle” of their PhD studies (you have started your
\nstudy, but it is not too late to make changes based on feedback).<\/p>\n
Submit a 2-4 pages paper in ACM SIGCHI Publications Format describing
\nyour PhD project. Please also submit a resume (CV) and a letter of
\nrecommendation from your supervisor. Students accepted will be asked
\nto read at least two other submissions, and should be prepared to give
\nfeedback to those students during the consortium.<\/p>\n
